When Characters Think


We all know the fundamentals of what makes a film work. Acting, cinematography, sound, music, production design, sfx, and the director, who’s vision everyone is working to achieve. The director’s vision comes from the script, which is why, as all filmmakers know, if you don’t have a good script, you don’t have anything.

My New Favorite Trilogy?

Move over umm, I guess the original Star Wars is still my favorite trilogy. I don’t normally post links to new movie announcements, especially not to sequels, but this news makes me pretty dosh-garn excited:



So, I’m sitting here at the library, unable to write, and I figured I’d throw up another blog post. I’ve been ruminating on a post showing some “movie magic” moments from the The Silence Inside Us, but that requires my computer, so I’ll you’ll just have to wait for that one.

Since it seems like all I’ve been doing lately is writing, I thought I would write about writing. I even thought about titling this post ‘On Writing’, but how many times has that title been used? (I’m actually reading one of them now, Stephen King’s ‘On Writing’. It’s fantastic).
